become well again
“It’s all in your walk, you must find it in nature, it must come from your heart and if you don’t understand Gairon, then you can’t continue.”

About Amatsu
What is Amatsu
Amatsu Orthopathic Therapy seamlessly integrates modern research with ancient Japanese natural movement therapy, tracing its lineage over 2,000 years. Rooted in the teachings of Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi and Dennis Bartram's interpretations from the Hichi Buku Goshin-Jutsu Ryu, Amatsu Therapy offers a non-invasive whole-body approach, first imparted to Bartram by Dr. Hatsumi in 1986. This therapy draws on the pioneering work of Dr. Stephen Levin MD on Biotensegrity, which emphasizes the interconnectedness of bodily structures through tensional integrity.
At its core lies the principle of Go-dai, or 'Big Five,' which recognizes the intricate relationship among the body's major systems: Physical, Mental, Electrical, Chemical, and Environmental. Guided by the concept of Gairon, meaning "the bigger picture," practitioners of Amatsu Therapy transcend localized issues to address broader body imbalances. By restoring natural balance and functionality, this holistic approach promotes overall health and well-being.

About Aiste
From a young age, I've been deeply intrigued by alternative healing methods and the remarkable tales of recovery they entail. Through my my search-of-self journey spanning many countries I traveled and lived in I encountered significant physical challenges. Despite medical suspicions of Rheumatoid Arthritis upon my return to Ireland, I sought alternatives to potent medications, eventually discovering Amatsu in 2017. Since then, I've become certified in Anma and Seitai levels, mentored by Sean Beakey who is amongst most respected people in the field. Currently a Trainee Teacher at the IOA (Institute of Amatsu) and an active member of ATI (Amatsu Therapy International).
I'm honored to practice this ancient therapy, now accessible to all.
Testimonials
For someone like myself who has multiple sclerosis and lives in constant chronic pain , Amatsu therapy was the best investment for my body. Highly recommend to anyone.

The symptoms I had before I went for Amatsu have not recurred (ocular migraines) and my level of flexibility has been enhanced. Based on my experience, I highly recommend Aiste for Amatsu alignment.

Once I got up and went for a walk, I experienced my new body, my hips and thighs were weightless and walking was so easy and without any effort. Afterwards I had a few more sessions of Amatsu and it always amazes me how fast the body relaxes and changes appear, physical or emotional pain disappears in an instant
